Community Fall Festival

Last year, we expanded the St. John’s Fall Festival to be more than just a youth lead event for the children of our church; we expanded it to be a church-wide event, in line with our vision, to reach out to the whole community.

The date is set for Sunday, October 30th from 4:00 PM — 6:30 PM. There will be hot food, live music, free candy, and new carnival games designed by the Student Ministry.

It will be an amazing fun filled afternoon! Please join us!

Half Truths

A new five week video/discussion course by Adam Hamilton, Half Truths: God Helps Those Who Help Themselves and Other Things the Bible Doesn’t Say, will begin on October 19th. Two identical sessions, at 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM, will be held in Rooms 149/151.

This course will help us examine sayings and beliefs that we may have heard, and even accepted, for years, but Hamilton wonders if they are as Christian or as true as we suppose. We will delve into scriptures as we examine each one.

October 26 – God Helps Those Who Help Themselves (in Rooms 245/257)

All ladies (and men, if they wish) are invited, and guests are always welcome! We'll meet in Room 241 for a brief time of fellowship and refreshments at 10:00 AM, followed by our program.

(The Executive Committee will meet at 9:00 AM in the Library.)
