The Bible & Human Sexuality

That's the topic of our UMW Mission Study, scheduled for Thursday, October 6th, in Room 241. Jane Perry will guide us through this study as we explore the Bible and human sexuality as two essential components of our Christian faith. All women are invited to attend, and why not consider inviting a friend or neighbor?

The cost for lunch is $10 per person, and the deadline for reservations is September 29th by contacting Lynn Pate (handlpate@msn.com or 505-821-9169). Anyone having food allergies is asked to notify Lynn when making a reservation. We hope you will plan to join us as, together, we learn more about this important topic.

Homosexuality & Theology

There is a lot of tension within every major Church Denomination on how to understand and interpret the Bible when it comes to homosexuality; there is also a lot of confusion and polarization. Let’s have a open conversation about this as part of Wednesday Night Live on October 5th.

Together, we will examine the scriptures that Christians on both sides of the issue lean on to cultivate better understanding for each side and help illuminate the path forward. Bring your Bibles, not a fight, to this class. Join us on Wednesday, October 5th, in Rooms 149/151 at 6:00 PM for this discussion on the Biblical case for and against Homosexuality.
