Asbury Cafe Notes

Pie parties continue this Tuesday, August 25th, in the church kitchen from 8:30 AM—10:30 AM. We will meet every Tuesday in August.

It’s also now time to sign up to work at the Asbury Café during the N.M. State Fair—Sept. 10-20. We need people to serve at the Café, to bake frozen pies, and even to make your own pies.

Look for tables under the blue canopy near the east doors to the narthex on Sunday.

Curl Up With a Good Book

At our Thursday, September 3rd, meeting of the United Methodist Women, we’ll focus on reading . . . just as school children are doing this time of year!

We’ll meet at 10:00 AM in Room 241. Four ladies from our group will give book reviews of a recent book that they particularly enjoyed. We’ll also have a book exchange at this meeting, so please plan to “bring a book and take a book” (any type of book is fine).

Our meetings include a wonderful time of fellowship, and we want you to be a part of it!

Welcome To St John’s United Methodist Church

SantWorship1St. John’s United Methodist Church is dedicated to helping you take the next step in growing your relationship with God. Living life as a Christian is an ongoing journey, not a destination.

If you are exploring a relationship with God for the first time, or have already made the commitment, St. John’s invites you to be a part of this journey with us. We offer a variety of opportunities for you to connect with God, self, and others.

Wherever you are in life, you are welcome at any of our three weekend experiences. At 8:15 AM and 11:00 AM on Sundays, we hold our organ and choir traditional services in the Sanctuary. Also on Sunday, at 9:30 AM in the Family Life Center, we have our Contemporary Abide Worship Service, which also steams live each week

You can also listen to a number our sermons online. If you are interested in hearing them, just Click Here.

St. John’s also offers an e-mail Bible study. Visit the archive of study tips at Daily Bible Study Tips, or sign-up for the e-mail Bible Study tips here.
