As "promised" (pun intended), volunteer sign-ups for the next Family Promise rotation has begun! Stop by the Welcome Center on Sundays to sign-up to help with our next hosting week, December 7th - 14th. As we celebrate Advent, what a great opportunity to help families who are waiting to find affordable housing right here at our church. To learn how you can help, call Dave Young (292-6528) or Tony Bryce (881-6701).

St. John's own Boy Scout Troop 286 is having a fundraiser to help support the troop and enable scouts to attend summer camp. They will be selling luminarias until December 14th, at 8:00 PM! Luminarias are $8/dozen, with an optional setup/take down service. Thanks for your support!

St. John's United Methodist Church is dedicated to helping you take the next step in growing your relationship with God. Living life as a Christian is an ongoing journey, not a destination.

If you are exploring a relationship with God for the first time, or have already made the commitment, St. John's invites you to be a part of this journey with us. We offer a variety of opportunities for you to connect with God, self, and others.

Wherever you are in life, you are welcome at any of our three weekend experiences. At 8:15 AM and 11:00 AM on Sundays, we hold our organ and choir traditional services in the Sanctuary. Also on Sunday, at 9:30 AM in the Family Life Center, we have our Contemporary Abide Worship Service, which also steams live each week at www.ustream.tv/channel/abideabq.

St. John's also offers an e-mail Bible study. Visit the archive of study tips at Daily Bible Study Tips, or sign-up for the e-mail Bible Study tips here.
