30 Years in the Making: New Robes for our Choir

Rev. Josh Kouri

Music conductor gesturing in front of church choir.

Last Sunday, Alissa Dickey shared that the St. John's Music Ministry is replacing the current beige choir robes. We're excited to invest in the choirs in this important way. To illustrate the need, I wanted to mention that I can remember when we received the current robes. It was in 1995. The internet was brand new, cell-phones were the size of a small cat and were unreliable at-best, if you wanted to watch a movie at home, you had to go to Blockbuster Video, and I WAS 14 YEARS OLD AND BRAND NEW AT CHURCH. The robes have been through a lot!

How can you help replace the robes? One suggestion might be to sponsor one new robe for the choir. The new robes cost about $220 each. I encourage you to consider sponsoring a robe for someone. You can donate on the website by clicking here.

For more information, contact Alissa Dickey or Matt Greer. We are excited to be in our brand-new choir robes by Easter. We are so thankful for the congregation's support.
