Looking to the Future Day

As the program year at St. John's kicks into high gear, I want to lift up an upcoming event and extend an invitation. Last spring we planned to have an event where anyone from the congregation is invited to help us form some long term goals for the church. The event was scheduled for June but logistical challenges forced us to delay. 

We are excited to invite everyone to this event again, this time scheduled for November 2, from 10 AM to 3 PM here at St. John's. You are invited to this day of LOOKING TO THE FUTURE!

The next several years at St. John's are starting to look exciting. Next year, we will celebrate our 75th anniversary - 75 years doing ministry and changing lives in uptown Albuquerque! We are finally past the pandemic and disaffiliation in the UMC. Life is getting back to normal. At St. John's, many of us sense an incredible amount of energy - from the congregation, from our local community, and all the more from the Holy Spirit. I believe the next 4 or 5 years will be great years for our church!
